Work on the roof and castellations has been completed. The loose stonework on the parapets was taken down and then reconstructed. The North Transept roof and South Ailse were re-slated and the hopper heads, rainwater gutters and downpipes cleaned.

The East window of the Beaupre Chapel was in a precarious state and emergency repairs were undertaken in mid-January 2017 by Susan McCarthy of Auravisions.

A full condition report identified that the windows were in urgent need of repair, conservation and restoration. As a result of a very successful fundraising initiative by the Friends, the generosity of grant-giving bodies and individual donations, approximately £55,000 has been raised and the work is underway.
